Balloon Mob
At the 2013 I wanted to do some type of dance, but the conference couldn’t find a space for us to do something. So without permission, at the reception following the main stage program, over 30 dancers burst into the room all carrying oversized balloons. We formed a colorful parade weaving in and out of the seated tables as a triumphant march played. People looked confused, surprised, amused — and eventually delighted. The march lasted for less than two minutes, but that’s all we needed. PwP, neurologists, PTs, OTs, and caregivers all participated.
